Yikes! Important Schedule Changes

Just back home from Arizona, and I do have more to tell you about the past week, but for now -- important changes to tell you about!

Oline Cogdill of the Sun-Sentinel verified information about a signing and saw that my Web site was wrong. Here's the correct info:

Books & Books
265 Aragon Avenue
Coral Gables, FL
(305) 442-4408

Thanks for that catch, Oline!

And just added:

Tuesday, October 24 7 PM
Vroman's
695 E Colorado Blvd
Pasadena CA 91101
(626) 449-5320

Hi Jan. I love your books. I'm just starting Bloodlines (I know, I'm a little behind, forgive me, I've been crazy busy in school). I saw that you just released Kidnapped and was hoping that you'd be near Houston sometime for a signing. But, it looks like most of your dates are in CA. Any chance you could add some book signings out here while you're at the Texas Book Festival?

Good Morning Jan,
My name is Meredith - I'm a content developer/writer working on a new TV documentary series about female crime fiction writers for a Canadian production company.
I am contacting you for several reasons - the first, obviously being that you are a fantastic writer - who happens to be female! The second, I have worked on forensic type tv programming for the past 5 years and agree wholeheartedly with you on the issue of forensic labs, both in the US and here in Canada. I'd love the opportunity to explain a little more about the project that we're working on and would greatly appreciate talking to you. You can contact me at caff500@yahoo.ca.
I certainly hope to hear from you,
Thankyou,
Meredith

Ms. Burke,

I have a question for you. I have been a huge fan of yours for a couple of years; even had the opportunity to attend your book signing in Nashville last year. I have since started collecting all of your books (in the full size publisher's editions.) I've been told that "Sweet Dreams, Irene" was never published in a full size (9 1/2") book. Is this accurate? I have all your other books in that size, but not this one. I appeciate your time.

Thank you, Mel.

Hello Jan,

Just wanted to thank you for your visit to Borders Books last night. Enjoyed hearing you speak. Thanks for the signatures also. Look forward to your next book but not the wait :-) Dennis (DR)

Hi Erica! I don't think the schedule will allow it at this point, which I'm sorry about -- I always love visiting Murder by the Book!

Yours,
Jan

Hi Mel,
That's correct. Needless to say, I had absolutely nothing to do with the decision to put it in that smaller format.

I suppose it makes it easier for collectors to find my books on their shelves -- I'm the one with the dip in the line-up. ;-)
