If I do say so myself: brilliant idea #897

From my list of beauty and fashion ideas for the not-quite-put-together woman of today --

A new lipstick color: dried toothpaste.

Our staff is working on a sexier name for it.

Note to self -- may need two shades: white and light blue.

This reminds me of the flavored Bonne Bell lip gloss and "kissing potions" that were so popular in my youth...your invention could start a whole new trend of lip gloss flavors...Crest, Pepsodent, Gleem...

I think we're on to something here.
Not necessarily a good something, but something!

Reminds me of the comment my hairdresser made the other day. He said it looked like I'd "been drug backwards through a wind tunnel." Somehow, I don't think he meant it kindly.

Well, when you get right down to it, I would think that kissing someone who tastes like Crest would be preferable to kissing someone who tastes like pina colada flavored petroleum jelly.

But maybe that's just me.

Apologies for being in the dark about Jan Burke, that is until this past August. I purchased Bloodlines before I went on vacation...could not put it down, since then, I've purchased everything I could find in print,I passed Bloodlines on to my sister-in-law and made another devotee. Bloodlines is the best novel I've read in at least 10 years and I read a bunch...no romance novels for me, give me the "who dunnits" everytime. My thanks to you Jan for giving me a great deal of reading pleasure..and some lost sleep at times.

Dear Elaine S --
Thank you! No need to apologize -- you discovered me while I could still write back to let you know I appreciate the support.
Hope you'll continue to enjoy the books!

All the best,
Jan
